Internet
Considered one of the tech giants today, Google had its humble beginnings as a graduate project of two Stanford students who wanted to catalog at least a “Google” of the world’s information. They dreamt big and won big, but how has Google remained at the top through the years? The answer lies in how they sort and present information. The tech giant does it in a way that users will find most intuitive and useful.
Triolla endeavors to follow in Google’s footsteps in terms of providing an excellent user experience to its customers. Whatever the company’s goals, ultimately, success depends on a topnotch team that can provide a good foundation through professional product UX design and an in-depth understanding of how a product works as a web or mobile app. According to Asaf Bar Or, Co-founder and Head of Product Design at Triolla, the success of the company is affirmed whenever he hears the sentence, “We got a Silicon Valley experience in Tel Aviv.”
Users Have Limited Patience
A product may be born from a good idea or the best of intentions, but it will never take off if it isn’t intuitive or easy to use. A product can be in production for decades and still fall flat due to poor user experience. “Unfortunately, it happens a lot. If the user experience is not comfortable and good, but mediocre, the people who use the app do not have too much patience,” adds Asaf.
This is why, for Triolla, it’s vital to understand what the market demands and the clients’ customers want. Asaf states, “We have a responsibility; people come to us with their dreams and we need to make them a reality of working systems and successful apps, but there is a fundamental mistake that I recognize in entrepreneurs: They think they know their users but we more often find that they do not know their users and do not think about them but about themselves. They don’t realize that people won’t make an effort to use their product. These entrepreneurs are blind to the idea, and it’s our job to remind them that users don’t have too much patience. Sometimes they have no patience at all, and the battle for their attention and time is difficult.”
Triolla specializes in designing and characterizing the user experience of a variety of applications, systems, and platforms. In business for the past 10 years, the company has developed a pulse for what modern companies need to create pleasant and memorable user experiences. It’s currently one of the leading companies in the industry, with a growing team of engineers, UX/UI designers, and product UX experts with extensive knowledge and a proven track record in the field of product characterization and design.
Triolla has led a variety of projects, working for both startups and international companies, including top brands like Playtika, Nike, Lufthansa and more. It has created mobile applications, SaaS systems, AI systems and intra-organizational platforms. “A lot of times customers come to us thinking that they are completely cohesive with their idea and in practice they have a concept but not a tightened digital product. Our mission is to distill the value proposition of the app and system and design precise product processes that will meet the needs of users,” says Asaf.
The company has worked extensively in a multitude of fields, including projects in the world of medicine, gaming, fintech, cyber, tourism, transportation, high tech, IoT and devices, complex dashboards, and many more.
Direct Communication With Experienced UX Professionals is Key
The availability of the UX/UI agency is also a major factor in the success of any project. The question isn’t about the willingness to do the project but the willingness to do it and complete it within a specified period. “Why do we succeed over time? Because we invest huge resources around the customer,” explains Asaf. “We are obsessed with the success of the project. When a company comes in to us, we assign it to four or five professionals who directly work on the project. In many companies there is a project manager who is the intermediary, whereas we believe in direct communication with each of our professionals, and they are available and accessible according to the degree of relevance and need,” he adds.
The ideal UX/UI agency should be able to provide a reasonable estimate of project completion. This is why constant and direct communication is of paramount importance. Details are crucial and should be made apparent at the onset to avoid misunderstanding. All changes in project parameters and timelines should be discussed immediately to avoid delays and other setbacks.
How Many Hours Does It Take to Design a Product?
Depending on the client product, UX/UI design can take from a few days to several weeks. Triolla, however, believes that the time from production to launch should be proportional to how deeply a client understands its customers.
“Even before the process begins at Triolla, the research team conducts market and UX research; leading players are well characterized by the product’s persona and use cases,” says Asaf. “At the end of this process, I understand who the user is targeting, who the competitors are, and what our strengths and weaknesses are. Only then do we begin the process of characterization, even before the design. On existing platforms, we do in-depth research in analytical tools in order to determine the behavior of users of the system and make it better for the user,” he adds.
It’s only after this characterization process that UI design begins. Characterization results in a full wireframes document of the entire system and application, from which UI designers formulate a graphic language and concept for the entire user experience. The UI design is then applied to all templates, after which, a prototype is created for the benefit of the development team or investors.
Ultimately, despite all the processes that the product undergoes, the goal is essentially the same: success. For Triolla, success is helping clients prevent millions of shekels from being wasted on a product intended for failure.
“We have clients that we accompany their product department throughout the year, and there are those that we work with for a short time just to help them launch the project. Sometimes we are approached by entrepreneurs with a very incoherent idea, while others approach us with a finished concept. In all cases, we enter a rapid process of establishment or improvements. Ultimately, we are in a world where there is no moment of rest—all systems and platforms are careful to update, adding features so that each of them are just as successful as the original,” adds Asaf.
What’s the Secret of Triolla?
“Experience, experience and more experience,” says Asaf. Triolla boasts an amazing team of UX/UI designers and product specialists who bring with them experience working with global startups and brands. This experience has made Triolla experts in customer experience. The company’s human-centered approach focuses on creating a seamless user and brand experience that designs great products and solves digital challenges.
“It is quite simple, if you connect experienced professionals who work together and there is professional collaboration that brings value and insights into the process, it is that which creates a high-value product for our customers. An excellent product, which works smoothly and has an excellent and memorable user experience.”
